This isn’t a bad fight though it’s only interesting because Rodriguez has some power and may be able to upset Ancajas. Jerwin Ancajas has been a world champion for a few years now but has had a very uninspiring championship run.
I see Jerwin Ancajas out boxing Rodriguez and potentially stopping him unless Rodriguez lands somethings big and knocks Ancajas out.
This is a really good step up fight for Jaron Ennis who is one of the best prospects in the sport currently. Sergey Lipinets won a world title at super lightweight but hasn’t been quite as good at Welterweight.
I think Jaron Ennis will make a statement and stop Lipinets due to being technically better and having a lot of power. He’s also the bigger fighter and I didn’t think Lipinets looked great in his last fight.
This isn’t a terrible fight as Conceicao hasn’t looked great as a pro and Ahumada has some power. Conceicao isn’t bad technically and clearly has some dog in him while Ahumada has some power but isn’t technically great.
I think over eight rounds Conceicao should do enough to win a decision though I expect him to lose son.
This is a decent fight for Bell who is slowly building his way towards world title shot. Albert Bell is a huge super featherweight and uses his size well by boxing from the outside. Manuel Rey Rojas isn’t a bad fighter but I think he’ll struggle to land on Bell who will be boxing and moving.
I think Albert Bell will win this fight by decision because hes the better boxer and has the size and range advantage. I’d like to see Bell in a good step up fight next as hes been treading water ever since his upset win over Andy Vences.
This shouldn’t be all that hard of a fight for Ajagba as he’s bigger and has more power. Brian Howard isn’t a real heavyweight and while hes got some power and will really try hes just not big enough to beat good heavyweight prospects.
I think Efe Ajagba will win by knockout within three rounds due to being bigger and having more power. It also doesn’t help Howard being 40 and coming off a loss.
This should be an easy fight for Jared Anderson who looks to be one of the best prospects in the heavyweight division. Jeremiah Karpency has a nice record of 16-2-1 but has been knocked out in his two step up fights. He’s also been very inactive and didn’t look all that motivated at the weigh in.
I think Jared Anderson will win by knockout within three rounds due to having more power and also being better technically. I like how active Anderson has been as well.
This is an excellent fight for the vacant WBO Light Heavyweight world title. Joe Smith Jr has come back from hard losses and has consistently won as an underdog to get to this position. Maxim Vlasov has won three fights in a row since losing at Cruiserweight and has been operating at world level for a while now.
Maxim Vlasov is the bigger fighter and will likely try to box from range the entire fight and use his boxing skills to win a decision. Joe Smith Jr is going to come forward and attempt to chop down the tree with his power and underrated skills himself.
I can see this fight going either way but I lean towards Joe Smith Jr winning a decision due to landing the bigger more impactful punches.
John Hedges didn’t exactly have a dream debut but at the same time very few people look good in their first fights and many great fighters have actually as a debutant. I thought he lost but it was relatively close.
John Hedges should win this fight by decision as Jermelic is 0-5 and hasn’t really shown a huge ambition to win in his fights as hes properly settled into his journeyman role.
Nick Campbell is making his debut after a decent amateur career and transitioning from rugby to boxing. Petr Frohlich is a journeyman who doesn’t win much at all and also gets stopped when he fights anyone who’s a decent prospect.
I think Nick Campbell will win by knockout within the first two rounds due to being bigger and better technically. Also hes a prospect facing a journeyman so he should really win.
This is a good fight as Farooq is a really good fighter but is severely underrated. Alexander Espinoza is a good domestic fighter in Nicaragua who lost on a split decision in Russia in his only trip outside of his native country.
I think this will be a good fight as both are decent fighters though Farooq is better technically and is good at fighting on the inside. I think Farooq will win by decision after ten rounds due to being better technically and his body work.
