Luis Alberto Hernandez Ramos versus Alex Martin breakdown

This is a solid fight for Hernandez who is having his second fight in the USA. Hernandez is 21-0 with 19 knockouts and seems to have a lot of power. He throws good combinations and all round looks like a fighter to keep an eye on. Alex Martin is a solid domestic fighter who has tested prospects with him sometimes winning and sometimes losing. He doesn’t have the power of Hernandez which will make it a struggle for him in this fight in my opinion.

Alex Martin

I think Luis Alberto Hernandez will win by knockout in the 8th or 9th round due to having more power and pressuring Martin who will slowly be broke down.

Anabel Ortiz versus Seneisa Estrada breakdown

This is a good fight between established world champion Anabel Ortiz and Seneisa Estrada who has been seen as a world champion in waiting for a while now.

Anabel Ortiz is a solid fighter though lacks the power of Estrada and may be technically worse though has fought at world level for close to a decade. I don’t think Ortiz has been fighting great competition recently and Estrada would certainly be her best win if she could pull it off.

Anabel Ortiz

I personally think this will be a statement win for Estrada who has more power and is technically better. I expect Seneisa Estrada to win a decision or get a late stoppage.

Vergil Ortiz Jr versus Maurice Hooker breakdown

This is a really good fight between Vergil Ortiz Jr who is storming towards a world title shot at Welterweight and Maurice Hooker who is a former champion at Super Lightweight.

Virgil Ortiz Jr is a big puncher with a solid jab and relentless pressure. He works to the body well and has stopped all 16 of his opponents so far. His defence is really the only questionable thing about his style in my opinion as he is open to being hit.

Maurice Hooker is a good fighter with respectable power and boxing skills though isn’t a great technical boxer. I think his defence is fairly shaky but he does have a lot of heart.

Maurice Hooker

I think Virgil Ortiz Jr will win by knockout in the 7th or 8th round due to breaking Hooker down slowly who will win a few early rounds before slowing down.

Bakhodur Usmonov versus Bektas Kassenay breakdown

This should be a fun fight as Usmonov is only 1-0 but already has a decent win under his belt. He didn’t look great in the fight and his promoters now likely know not to rush him but I presume he’ll have learnt a lot. Usmonov was a very good amateur and has turned pro as a big lightweight. Kassenay had an amateur career though it wasn’t as good as Usmonov’s and as far as I can tell he took a break until he turned pro recently.

Bektas Kassenay

I think Bakhodur Usmonov will win a decision after six rounds due to being better technically and having more experience fighting good fighters already even though hes only 1-0.

Alexander Besputin versus Viktor Plotnikov breakdown

This isn’t a great fight but Besputin needs a tune up after a long time out the ring due to a failed drugs test. Besputin was a rising contender in the Welterweight division but a positive drugs test left him with a short ban and his most recent fight becoming a no contest. Plotnikov is 43 and really should have retired a while ago as he doesn’t have much left though he is tough.

Viktor Plotnikov

I think Alexander Besputin will win this fight by stoppage in three rounds due to being in his prime while Plotnikov is beyond done at this stage of his career.

Khariton Agrba versus Helber Rojas breakdown

This isn’t a great fight as Agrba is 4-0 after a long and successful amateur career while Rojas hasn’t beat a fighter with a winning record since 2018.

I think Khariton Agrba will likely win this fight by knockout due to his technical skills and experience versus better competition.

Pavel Silyagin versus Azizbek Abdugofurov breakdown

This is an excellent fight in the Super Middleweight division between two technically gifted fighters who also have a decent amount of power. Pavel Silyagin has been pro for slightly over a year and has already got a record of 6-0. Abdugofurov has been a pro for almost 5 years and is 13-0.

Pavel Silyagin will try and use his good jab to dominate the fight and especially early on I think this will work as Abdugofurov hasn’t fought since 2019 while Silyagin has been active. Silyagin is very good technically though is a very stiff fighter. This has worked for him so far and because of his jab people struggle to land the big punches against him. Abdugofurov is much more fluid in how he boxes but also doesn’t throw as many punches. He’s mostly a counter puncher who throws a lot of hooks to the body.

Azizbek Abdugofurov

I think Pavel Silyagin will win this fight by decision due to his jab and his recent activity in the ring compared to Abdugofurov who hasn’t fought in over a year.

Artur Beterbiev versus Adam Deines breakdown

This isn’t a very good fight especially considering its for two world titles. Artur Beterbiev is 15-0 with 15 knockouts and is seen as one of the most dangerous champions in the sport while Deines recently lost an eliminator and is around European level. Neither has fought recently so ring rust shouldn’t make a difference.

Adam Deines

I expect Artur Beterbiev to press forward and use his usual style of heavy handed pressure which breaks his opponents down. I think he will win by knockout within six rounds because hes better technically and has a horrible style for anyone that either can’t hurt him or doesn’t have amazing foot work.

Ellie Scotney versus Mailys Gangloff breakdown

This is a good step up for Ellie Scotney who will likely be fast tracked towards a world title. Gangloff is 4-1 with her only loss being a split decision for the French title. Ellie Scotney was very impressive on her debut where she showed both power and technical skills.

I think Ellie Scotney will win this fight by decision due to being better technically after a good amateur career.

Ramla Ali versus Bec Connolly breakdown

This is a decent fight for Ali considering it’s only her second pro fight. Ramla Ali was a good amateur who may still go to the Tokyo Olympics and is clearly very good technically. Bec Connolly is a tough fighter who has fought lots of prospects and fighters on the domestic scene.

Bec Connolly

I think Ramla Ali will win a decision after six rounds due to being better technically though I wouldn’t be surprised if she got a stoppage.
