This should be a fun but largely noncompetitive ten rounder which is perhaps a metaphor for the whole sport in general.
Jay Harris had a thrilling fight with WBC world champion Julio Cesar Martinez in his last outing and while he ended up losing a close decision he proved that he was a world class operator. I expect him to build on his last performance and really show Braithwaite that there are levels to boxing. Braithwaite is a fighter in the domestic scene that when all’s said and done will be known for giving it a go but ultimately losing every big fight. There’s no shame in that and many boxers make a career out of it whether domestic operators or fringe world contenders who pad the records of new champions.
I think Harris will win a points decision after ten rounds
