This isn’t a bad fight considering it’s been put together last minute due to Sam Maxwell’s original opponent testing positive for Covid. Sam Maxwell has a huge amount of amateur experience and has good fundamentals because of that. He’s also shown a lot of power throughout his career so far. Ben Fields turned pro with limited experience but has faced a very good level of competition so far due to going on the road and taking fights in the away corner. He holds a record of 10-9-2 but is much better than it suggests as he’s taken the zero’s of many prospects.
I think Sam Maxwell should be able box his way to a decision as hes fundamentally more sound and has also had a lot of notice for this fight while Fields is coming in on very short notice.
